Pet Memorials

In Loving Memory

Honouring and remembering the pets we have helped transition across the rainbow bridge.
Please send us an email if you would like to honour your pet’s memory.

Bear

Bear was loved by so many.
He was a gentle giant at 145 pounds . This silly boy also thought he was a 10 pound lap dog as seen in all of our photos.
Bear grew up with Rick and Claire’s 6 grandchildren. When they would visit, he was over the moon and loved to play with them and then he would sleep for hours after they left.
He was Rick’s shadow everywhere Rick went Bear was there. Best Friends!

This Guy had captured everyone’s heart ❤️.RIP Bear

Daisy

Daisy (aka Daisy Queen) was a very loving, curious, and talkative girl. Daisy and I met when she was 12 and I will be forever grateful to have had the chance to experience her friendship and love. She was “above” playing and only played if catnip was involved, she loved her scratchy, pate wet food, sunny spots on the floor, and most of all cuddling. She will be forever loved and missed.

Kiha

To our sweet girl,

We don’t know how to say goodbye — a goodbye we never wanted to say. There’s a hole in our hearts and in our home now. Words can’t fully express the depth of our grief or the immeasurable impact you had on our lives. Thank you for being the cuddly, sweet, loving, adventurous — just the absolutely perfect — companion. We will always cherish the memories we made with you. You will live in our hearts forever.

Love you always, Kiha

Dorian

Dorian was always a kind, curious, and enthusiastic cat. He was deemed my “sous chef”, because he always had to have a helping paw in whatever I did in the kitchen. He loved sitting on his chair and observing, occasionally getting treated to bits of chicken and other things while I worked.

One of my favourite memories of Dorian was when he got up on Nathan’s desk and enthusiastically attempted to swipe a freshly made donut out of Nathan’s hand. Dorian LOVED sweet foods (pastries, ice cream, frosting, soy milk, oatmeal — you name it, he wanted it), more than any other cat I ever met. He had a keen ear for the freezer and silverware drawer — he knew that meant a human was grabbing ice cream, and he would definitely get to lick the spoon afterward. Of course, that didn’t stop him from trying to steal the spoon out of our hands.

Dorian lived a long life of fourteen years, give or take a few months. Raised alongside dogs at the beginning of his life, he was always more dog-like than cat-like. That never stopped him from curling up and cuddling with us, of course. He loved waking us up by combing our hair, purring in our ears, and putting a paw on our noses. He always wanted more fresh kibble, but what he truly wanted was to be snuggled and smothered with love.

Dorian might have been about seven kilos, but his heart was definitely seventeen thousand tonnes. He loved every human he met, always greeted us when we came home, and he had a soul way too big for our humble home.

We love you, buddy. My sous chef. Nathan’s right hand man. You were the coolest, raddest cat I ever got to know, and there will never be another cat like you.

Chico

In Loving Memory of Chico
🌙 A gentle soul who graced our lives for 18 beautiful years 🌙
On September 1st, we said goodbye to our sweet Chico, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a lifetime of love, purrs, and companionship. From the moment you came into our lives, you filled our home with warmth, laughter, and comfort.
You were more than a pet — you were family, a constant friend, and a source of unconditional love. Your soft purrs, curious eyes, and gentle spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that you lived a long, happy life surrounded by love. You gave us 18 years of precious memories, and we are endlessly grateful for every moment.
Rest peacefully, sweet Chico. You will always be our baby, our companion, our angel.
Until we meet again, chase the sunbeams and nap among the stars. 🌈✨

Mitty

Mitty was a gentle soul. She was very loyal and loved so much. She loved snuggles, watching birds and following us around meowing for attention. She is gone but will live on in our memories

Jay-Z

In loving memory of our Jay-Z, a spirited soul whose challenges only made our love for him grow deeper, embracing every shade of his unique and unforgettable character

Barney

“Our beloved Barney. You came to us in a storm, abandoned— cold and hungry. We brought you in, filled your tummy. In return, you filled our lives with love. You were more than just a cat. You were family. You were our handsome Barney Boy, aka Barndoogle, aka Barn Barn, aka Mr. Doogle. Gone too soon, may you rest in peace.”

Onyx

This is my favorite photo of Onyx aka baby bear. He had so many expressions and funny faces. His smile could melt the strongest of hearts. And his personality was one of a kind. Thank you so very much for helping me see him off with dignity. The two of you are some wonderful humans. True superheroes 🤍🤍🤍

Opal

In Loving Memory of Opal

Opal came into our lives as a rescue, and though she started out as a foster, she quickly became family. She carried the scars of a past where she wasn’t treated as she deserved, yet her spirit remained unbroken. With her soulful eyes, silly attitude, and boundless capacity to love, she reminded us daily of the resilience and forgiveness that only dogs seem to know so well.

Opal fought a courageous battle with cancer, enduring two surgeries with grace and strength. Through it all, she never lost her love for the simple joys – stealing the entire couch, sharing popcorn, and snuggling close.

Though she had every reason to turn away from people, she chose instead to love unconditionally. Our mission was to give her the best life possible, and in return, she gave us more than we could ever give back.

Run free now, sweet Opal. Your paw prints will remain on our hearts forever.
