On March 1, 2025 I said goodbye to one of the kindest, gentlest souls and best companion who loved life to the fullest.
Toby, you are surely missed.
This little guy came into my life September 10, 2011 when I adopted him from the SPCA who rescued him from a puppy mill/hoarder. His estimated age was 4 years old at rescue. I can’t imagine what those first 4 years were like but the rest of his life was filled with comfort, joy, love and compassion.
Toby showed me unequivocal love, happiness and became my best friend for 13.5 years. Toby brought love to light.
So long, old buddy and best friend. I will miss our daily walks.
You were a fighter right to the end and you will be loved and missed forever.

Life seems quiet without you,
You were far more than a pet.
You were a family member, a friend,
A loving soul I’ll never forget.
It will take time to heal,
For the silence to go away.

And miss you every day.
You were such a great companion,
