Remembering our beautiful Stella
Stella had the worst of this world and the best of this world..Born in Mexico, she got lucky and found her way to Vancouver Island (probably because of her gorgeous brown eyes!), only to find neglect and abuse here. Luckily, she got another chance at a good life when Karen, her wonderful foster mom saved her and brought a village to help Stella back. She was broken beyond words. But with great help like Ron’s last chance rescue and Karen, Stella started trusting the world again. It helped that Stella always wanted to love people… And food!
Stella found her happiness at her third go around. She came to visit us for a “three hour tour”, and it was love on the spot. She never left our home. She had an amazing 7 years with us and her little brother – also from Mexico – filled with lots of love, comfy beds (she was partial for down duvets), good food, tons of exercise and off leash adventures.
Stella was so gorgeous, with her long stiletto legs, and her brown eyes that reflected the soul of the world. She was an amazing friend, always at my side – my shadow. She won countless hearts with her sweet and gentle demeanor.
She will forever be missed by us, many friends and neighbours and Sparky, her very own therapy dog who did an amazing job at showing her that the world is a good place after all.
Rest in peace my sweet girl, you will always be in our hearts.
