One night when I couldn’t sleep I was scrolling Facebook and I saw a post from a rescue group in California. The post said the rescue had until noon the next day to pick up 4 chihuahuas or they would be euthanized. I impulsively said I will adopt Sadie!! 5 days later and 3 hours before Sadie’s flight was going to land in Victoria I sent my husband an “we need to talk” text. It was love at first site when we picked her up. Sadie was up for anything! She loved boating, kayaking, swimming, and her favorite place to go was Sidney Spit. Sadie was so sweet and affectionate and everyone loved her. We are devastated she’s gone but so thankful we got to love and care for her for the last 11 years.
