Our sweet Mazie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 14, 2026, far too soon.
She was the most loving, gentle girl who never met anyone she didn’t like. With her big goofy smile and her wiggliest little butt — she greeted everyone like they were family. And once you were in her circle, you were loved completely.
Mazie may have been a big Rottweiler, but she was convinced she was Chihuahua-sized and was always ready to try to sit in your lap. She loved her balls and her moosie, proudly bringing them to you to admire — but never actually letting you have them. And she was forever making “trades,” bringing rocks of all sizes, socks, or a Kleenex or a, well whatever she found, holding the treasure in her mouth until you noticed, huffing for attention, and happily exchanging them for a treat.
She loved corn on the cob and could clean off the cob very well, you had to pay attention to roll the cob to match her nibbles.
Mazie was an epic napper and loved her snug time with us.
Seven years was far too short, but every day with her was filled with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.
Run free, sweet girl. Wiggle that little butt for all it’s worth. You will always be our girl.
