Calvin Ferdinand
Cal was the very light of our home, much beloved by his four human siblings, mom and dad, and everyone else.
He had a waggish sense of humour, a tendency to get into scrapes, and enjoyed food the way any Lab does, but especially buttered popcorn, empty peanut butter jars, tim-bits, anything Mom baked, and of course pizza.
He believed in being very “dognified” and proper, often crossing his pretty paws and looking regal.
He took seriously his job of cleaning a loved human’s hand or foot, whether the human wanted to be cleaned or not.
He loved scritches, his kennel, the foot of the bed, Christmas, his pack walks (thank you to Mia and Heather), his rocking chair, his special song, and sitting on his hill and smelling the flowers like his literary namesake.
He was Daddy’s boy, through and through.
Much loved, never forgotten.
